Project Description
This project will improve water efficiency at Gorokan Public School by implementing a range of water saving initiatives. These include installation of dual flush toilets and spring loaded taps and bubblers. In addition to this, a tank will be installed to collect rainwater to flush toilets, and to irrigate plants in the greenhouse and surrounding gardens. These changes will save 647,000 litres of water each year.

Progress Report

  • 55 spring loaded taps have been fitted & all leaking taps have been repaired.
  • 29 dual flush cisterns have been installed & are functioning correctly.
  • All water tanks are operational and running toilets.
  • All security fencing has been completed.
  • All tank gauges have been installed.
